Elite start lists for the 2018 Hamburg Marathon

It promises to be another incredible weekend of marathon running on the streets of Hamburg when some of the world's top marathon runners will take to the streets on Sunday the 29th of April for the 2018 Haspa Marathon.
Emmanuel Mutai of Kenya is the fastest man on paper with a personal best time of 2:03.13, which is the world's fourth fastest time in history.
But, he is not going to have it easy with four other competitors with times under 2:06 battling for the honors with him. They include Ayele Abshero of Ethiopia 2:04:23, Sammy Kitwara 2:04:28, Vincent Kipruto 2:05:13 and Stephen Chebogut 2:05:52.
Isabellah Andersson of Sweden leads the women's field with a personal best time of 2:23:41. Shitaye Eshete 2:25:36, Sylvia Kibet 2:26:16, Sally Chepyego Kaptich 2:26:43 and Beata Naigambo 2:26:57 will be some of the women to watch out for; not forgetting the track star Mimi Belete who will be doing her marathon debut here.
