2018 Volkswagen Prague Marathon elite start lists for Sunday, the 6th of May

After failing to finish the Boston Marathon in April, Galen Rupp is not letting his training go to waste and will be toeing the start line again this weekend in Prague for the 2018 Volkswagen Prague Marathon.
Sisay Lemma winning a past edition of Frankfurt Marathon
2:05:39 is the marathon’s course record being held by Eliud Kiptanui of Kenya.  That record will be on the eyes of the assembled elites on that day, led by Sisay Lemma of Ethiopia who already has a personal best time of 2:04:08 recorded in Dubai marathon in January. The top Kenyan in the start list will be Stephen Chemlany with a personal best time of 2:06:24 which he recorded in 2014.
Amane Beriso 2:20:48 and Amane Gobena 2:21:51 are the favorites in the women’s race given their personal best times that are more than 3 minutes ahead of the rest. But, again many surprises have been witnessed in the recent marathon races and anything could happen here.
